The Google experience

Google is a great company to work for. This is what you hear all the time in the media. And it’s true. What makes Google so special? The people!

Working in Dublin, Ireland with smart and friendly people from all around the world (mainly EMEA) felt more like studying in Erasmus then working. Lots of the Googlers were your co-students, friends, flat shares and colleagues at the same time. So it was a great, intense and unique experience. Many young people with a different cultural background at one spot in a dynamic company like Google = lots of great parties, fun and learnings.

What about my job in the Search Quality Team at Google, my position, my responsibilities, my experiences? How was it, to work in improving the quality of a product which most of the people worldwide use every day? Well, how my former managers always said: “It’s confidential!”

Here some impressions of my “Google experience”.
